Gallop Haylage nets are made with a thick nylon rope, to ensure the horse is less likely to chew through the net. The tie string is also thicker to take the weight of the heavier haylage.
The 2”x2” holes encourage the horse to take smaller mouthfuls thus eating slower which magnitudes chewing and minimises boredom.
